Personal connections inspired Scott Thomas, MD, to become a doctor. Although both of his parents practiced medicine, he never considered going into the field until he was diagnosed with a brain tumor at 14. These experiences shaped his philosophy of care. He is grateful for the opportunity to care for people and always strives to do his best to improve the health of his patients. Dr. Thomas is committed to giving everyone attention and care, and making sure his patients' concerns are heard. He wants patients to feel that they have a role in their healthcare decisions. In his free time, he enjoys going to the zoo and museums with his wife, Amy, and daughter, Emma. Dr. Thomas also plays piano, guitar and trombone, and likes playing sports.
