Showing compassion and sensitivity is how R. Scott Spies, MD, delivers patient care. He felt called to practice medicine at an early age, specifically pediatric work. Every day, Dr. Spies strives to do his very best by every single patient and treat people the way he would want to be treated. Dr. Spies is married with four children. He enjoys photography and loves to display his work in his exam rooms. Other hobbies include riding his motorcycle to work or to the mountains and singing at his church. Medical mission trips are a big part of his career, with trips to Haiti, Africa and Mexico. Dr. Spies' entire family travels regularly to a school in the Dominican Republic.
